The Borderline Between Good and Bad

This Advertisement From australian clothing company Unit was banned for being sexist and too much nudity was involved, but when they interviewed shoppers from different races and ages they didnt find it offenseive and it really is effective when selling clothes to the younger generation of action sports fanatics.

On the other hand there is the beloved advertisement from M&M's with the great quote "you get in the bowl".

Yea its funny but it in no way portays buying M&M's as a good thing at all yet everybody loves it, the mans girlfriend wanted a snack and being the gentlemen he is goes to get her M&M's and they refuse to co-operate!!

This is an ad campaign for shoe company Etnies and its effective use of one of their athletes who is very well known, gives the impression that if he uses those shoes they must be really good, purely because he wears them.

But then they released another advertisement of the same style but have not shown any indication that they are a shoe company, and even if the target audience new this, there is not point showing an athlete who is endorced by them surfing when there are obviosuly no need for shoes in surfing.

Not hard to figure this one out. It makes no damn sense!! how are they intending on doing this?

Now i dislike the 5-0 as much as the next guy but props to them on this advertisement, it gets there point across very effectively by using ear phones as the chalk line around the victim.
